Contact usWhat if I want my cabinets to go to the ceiling?
We can take your cabinets to the ceiling. We have 2 different methods of doing this.
1) Build new upper cabinets that are taller to replace the existing
shorter ones
2) Build an extension on top of your existing upper cabinetsCan I add cabinets / alter my layout for a refacing project?
Yes, for refacing projects we can add any new cabinetry that you would like. We can also rework your existing cabinetry. For example, we can turn a base cabinet with 2 doors into a drawer stack. We can also help redesign your layout.
Do you offer Range Hoods?
Yes, we offer many decorative range hood options. You will need an HVAC professional to create necessary openings for outside ventilation (if required). For stainless steel range hoods, check out the selection at Custom Distributors.
What order should I do my projects in? (For cabinets, countertops, backsplash, flooring, painting walls and lighting)
For these projects you typically would paint the walls first, then have the cabinets refaced / installed, then countertops, then backsplash, then lighting and flooring.
What is veneer?
For our Premium paint grade and economy lines we use a DLV (decorative laminate veneer). Our Premium Wood Stain line uses a hardwood veneer.
What are your doors made of?
We have different product lines available which dictate the type of materials
being used. Our economy line is all MDF doors. The Premium Paint Grade
line has a solid maple framing and a composite center panel. Finally, our
Premium Wood Stain line is all solid wood.Do you offer any pullouts for storage and organization?
Yes, we offer many solutions. Check out our cabinet storage solutions in the
services tab on our website for more information. Is there a big mess while installation is happening or after?
Not at all! We put down protective coverings on your floor, countertops, and over some of your appliances. At the end of each work day we will clean up our small mess and store our tools out of your way.
How does the cost of refacing compare to new cabinetry?
Refacing is usually half to a third of the cost of new cabinetry. Sometimes even less. Do note that we only use very high end materials and each item is custom sized and crafted for your kitchen / project area. There are always cheaper options out there, but you need to be careful what you are paying for.
Do you dispose of all materials?
Yes, any cabinet doors, drawers, molding, and countertops that we remove will be disposed of by our team unless otherwise noted. Materials are sometimes donated to local agencies that can repurpose them. Other times they are thrown away. This heavily depends on what materials these agencies are willing to take, if they are recyclable, and the condition of them.
